Hello Dear Friends of KEPZ, Once again your generosity and love has surpassed my expectations, we have nearly reached £4,000 in donations towards the rebuilding project. This is an amazing step forward, and I and the volunteers at KEPZ cannot thank you enough for your love and support for the dogs in the shelter.I am posting a photo of one of the volunteers sitting with the dogs in their kennel after all the rain, she is wearing wellies, rain coat etc and the dogs beds have had to be raised but the dogs are wet. I think this shows what both the volunteers and dogs are having to live with right now. https://www.gofundme.com/f/the-sokrates-project

Some people have asked how much it would cost to sponsor the rebuilding of one kennel and we have calculated that to be £500 each kennel to reroof, plaster, paint, concrete the floor and put in new fencing. So now we will soon be able to make sure that 8 dogs have a decent run and an insulated roof over their heads. All thanks to your generosity. If any company would like to sponsor a whole kennel, please send me a pm, and I would be delighted to make public your generosity.
Today I have a new challenge for everyone. As you know from my previous posts, to reach our goal we need to share this gofundme appeal 6,000 times. So far we have achieved 835 shares, so we are getting there. I am attaching 2 posters which are A4 size: one in English the other partially in Greek. The challenge for each of you is to print off the poster/s and go to a local supermarket, Vet surgery, pet shop or anywhere else that is open and ask them to post it up somewhere people can read it. I know this is a challenge because wherever you are in Europe there are travel bans, so only make it local, obey the laws and please get the message out there. If you can cut along the strips at the bottom so that people can tear off a strip and take it with them that would be helpful. In Corfu there are parish noticeboards everywhere, please try to get one poster on each, to get the message out. Every thing you do helps KEPZ reach their goal.
Thank you in advance for all you are doing during the crisis to help the dogs and Volunteers at KEPZ.
Kind regards
Rosie
