Well dear Friends out in Blogland, once more we is the puppies Samson and Delilah writing to update you on our lives in the beautiful green countryside of Corfu. The trees are all bursting out wiv green stuff, and the swallow birdies are back. We don’t know why they go in the first place.
Now we is big enuf the Missus puts us in the spare bathroom to sleep in the afternoon, sumfink about having a nap. We don’t fink it’s for us to nap but someone else, but we is not sure. Enyway we have had some fun in the bathroom. In it there is the tumbly dryer wot The Missus has taken off of the electrickery so we can’t hurt ourselves biting the cable. Did you know that a Tumbly dryer is a pachyderm? We didn’t, but found out. It has this great big trunk that the Missus puts out the window and steam floats out of it when the tumbly dryer is working. So we fort why not play with this elephant ‘cos it looked like fun? An’ it was fun. It took all 3 of us to move it about the floor an’ it kept wiggling an’ we had a job controlling it as it didn’t want to be taken off the tumbly dryer, but we managed to get it in our bed eventually after a lot of effort. The Missus called out to The Boss to find out wot wos going on in the bathroom but he was busy on the ‘puter looking at cars, so she came in and found us discomboobulating the elephant’s trunk an’ so took it away from us. We fort that was unfair. So next time we wos in the bathroom we found a smaller elephant’s trunk and played with that. It made a great noise when we kept carrying it around and banging it into the washety-chine which is also in the bathroom. The Missus found it in our blanket wot we sleep on. Now she says no-one can use the wash basin. Wot is that about??
Then the Missus moved everythink in the bathroom up high so we couldn’t get to it. But she didn’t realise we can climb. She put wot she calls the loo brush on top of the cistern fing wot she flushes our poo down the loo wiv. So last night Luna climbed up on the loo seat and in a trice the loobrush and it’s container wos on the floor. We didn’t fancy eating the container but hiding inside it was a hedgehog and we didn’t like that so we tried to kill it, just like Algy does when he is outside and finds a real hedgehog. He gets it in his mouf an’ shakes it an cries cos the hedgehog has spikes on its back an’ they hurts Algy’s mouth. The Missus has to try to get the hedgehog out of Algy’s mouf and then puts its somewhere safe. Now there’s no more real hedgehogs in our play area. We weren’t afraid of this loo brush hedgehog though as we are very brave. So now we is not ‘llowed to have the loo brush neiver. So then we fort there was some white paper stuff on a roll and the Missus walked in just as we had unwound it all over the floor. She larfed at that and called us “little devils” we fort that wos undeserved since we are only 2 munfs old. Wot did she expect?
Some news on the adoption front. A very nice kind man said he would like to adopt Samson. The Missus and The Boss thought that wos good news. But when they asked about where Samson would live, the nice man said he would live in the garden not the house. The Missus and the Boss seemed a bit concerned about this an’ talked about it for hours and hours. They is not ‘llowed out to see the man and his garden as there is no number on the travel permit for this, but they wos worried that Samson had lived inside a house for all the 2 munfs of his life and would be unhappy outdoors so they sed “no” to the nice man. It made them sad to do this as they want us to go to a nice home where we can be loved and play outside and inside. The Missus sez after peeps read this message from us no-one will wont to adopt us. Wot is she on about?
So we reckons we is going to be together for a bit longer like wot the Boys in the Petshop say:
