Happy Muvva's Day 10 May 2020

Hello to all our followers an Muvvas this lovely day in May. We is Samson an’ Delilah wot is living in the gorgeous island of Corfu, until we find forever homes and get away from the Missus who follows us around all day wiv a mop an’ bucket. We still don’t get wot that is about, even though she keeps growling at us while she’s mopping up. The Boss with the furry face sez we is too young to lern house trainin’ an’ we agree.

Today is a special day in our Country of birth, and lots of uvva places in the world, but not Britten it seems. It is Muvva’s Day. Now we is not knowing who our Muvva is although we are trying to find out, so we finks we want to send our wishes to the Muvva’s that fed us an’ Luna wen we woz newborn or we wud not be here, never, ever. They is Lihav Weinstien, Samantha Sheed and, oh yes, that lady, The Missus wiv the mop an Bucket. She fed us wiv a bopple too but not Luna as she wos weaned wen she got here. Flo would also like to say thanks to Linda Hobson and Steve for saving her life and that of her puppies, wivout them she would be starving and probably ded by now. Her puppies were saved and found homes by Marketa Mavropoulou and Uta Englehart, both of whom she is grateful to. She also wonts to thanks Theda Bonetis for feeding her, an her sista Bonnie an’ puppy Star, while they wos living wild and Jennifer Gardiner for arranging transport to Britten even if it didn’t work out. As orphans we know wot that little boy Oliver Twist sung an we know wot that feels like: Where is love? Does it fall from skies above? Is it underneath the willow tree That I've been dreaming of? Where is she? Whom I close my eyes to see? Will I ever know the sweet "hello" That's meant for only me? Who can say where she may hide? Must I travel far and wide? 'Til I am beside the someone who I can mean something to ... ( written by Lionel Bart deceased) Pleese, pleese, someone adopt us so we can know wot real luv is. We don’t have to be adopted togevva as we is now independent so pleese consider it. We is lovely! Honest! We is used to livin’ indoors so we can’t be outdoor doggies, but we do play outside a lot an would luv walkies in the park or countryside. We is lernin’ to be ‘bedient and run to our bed when the Missus sez beddybyse but that’s cos she gives us a bikkit when we get there haha. We could be good guard dogs as Algy is teaching us to bark, although it comes out more of a yap right now. Algy and Bertie don’t really feel they left their Muvva too soon. In fact she had enuf of them by the time they were 12 weeks old an’ was taking them out on to a busy dual cabbageway road to send them on their way wen the Missus and The Boss happened to come by, and by mistake accidentally took on 2 pups they had no intention of adopting in the first place. The first thing they did wos drive to this lady Diellas place an’ wiv Bertie yelling his head off ‘cos he didn’t want to leave his Mum, The Missus stayed wiv them in the car while The Boss went shopping for puppy stuff. In 10 minutes he came out wiv a complete puppy kit wiv food an’ 3 bowls, 2 for food an one for water. We still is eating out of those. We have discovered somfink funny. It seems the Missus has anuva baby wot is nearly 41 years old. How can that be? No one lives to that age surely? He sent her a Muvva's Day card but the house where we live in Corfu is difficult to find so he sent it to the address on the envelope in the pic. You might laugh but it had more chance of getting here than any other post. They have a post box by the gate and there has never not been one item of post in it yet after 6 years.
