Hi to everyone in Blogland no matter where you are, we are Samson an’ Delilah the puppies wot live in the emerald island of Corfu. Now we’ve got our pet passports we are reddy to travel once the borders to Italy, Germany, Austria, Belgium and France open up an’ let us through. But we has a problem.

Our passports say we are Greek an’ we know that we are going to Britten where foreigners are no longer welcome. What is that about? We is worried that they might not let us in. We finks we are innocent little puppies an’ we is not understanding why foreigners like us is not welcome. Wot is wrong wiv peeps from Europe an’ Greece coming to Britten we is not understanding? So we has an idea, we is going to write to that Prime Minister guy Boris to find out if we is going to be welcome. We will miss our homeland of Corfu but our future is in Britten with lovely kind peeps wot are going to adopt us an’ we need to be sure that they won’t decide to throw us out. This is our letter to Mr Boris. Wot do you fink?

Dear Mr Boris, We hopes it is Ok for us to write to you. We is puppies wot has grown up in Corfu. We wos abandoned wen we was borned and our 2 bruvvas died but thanks to 2 lovely ladies who rescued us we are alive and very well. We has proper pet passports and rabies shots an’ are fit to travel, but our passports say we is Greek. We has seen on TV that Britten don’t want no foreigners in no more and we wonder if it’s OK for us Greek puppies to live in Britten? We hopes we will be welcome. We are well behaved and are lernin’ English like In, Out, sit, stay, beddybyse, fetch an uvva stuff so we will be able to be good doggies. We are looking forward to living in Britten an hope you will let us stay.
